The Birth of CCIN 2.0

My brother Michael and I incorporated the Castello Cities Internet Network in March 1999, over twenty-five years ago. CCIN develops and monetizes some of the most valuable domain names in the world, especially Geodomains (Geographical Domain Names) such as  Nashville.com, PalmSprings.com and WestPalmBeach.com.

At one time, CCIN was doing quite well and, let’s just say, paid the bills, but after a while it went on the backburner and faded, especially after I left Palm Springs to manage and play drums for BREE in 2011. That, too, had a great run, particularly in the U.K. in 2016, but after the birth of our daughter Venus Victoria in 2020 and the death of my Mother (Victoria) in 2021, we settled into the laidback beach lifestyle of Flagler Beach.

Life comes and goes in cycles, and everything evolves. Two months ago, my cousin Joanne Bergstrom connected me with Rick Schneider, whom I knew when he was with Priceline who, in turn, introduced me to Keith Lamb, the CEO of a new company, Ardor. Keith lives across the state, but happened to be picking up his son with his wife Sonia in nearby Palm Coast and we arranged to all have lunch here at the Flagler Beach Fish Company.

It quickly became apparent that Keith understood the value of our Geo brands and suggested his tech team in India rebuild Nashville.com as well as PalmSprings.com and WestPalmBeach.com. With his company’s advanced technology and our Geo brands it’s a formidable business marriage made in heaven. I saw a rare and unique opportunity to realize these brands’ true worldwide potential. We met again at the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach, this time with his project managers who flew in from India.

Nashville.com has just had its soft launch and will go full throttle in a few weeks with PalmSprings.com and WestPalmBeach.com soon to follow after January 1st.

Welcome to the birth of CCIN 2.0.

Our Nashville Music Editor, Jerry Holthouse, has the content covered quite nicely for Nashville.com. I’ll sharpen my pen and write content for PalmSprings.com and WestPalmBeach.com.

Venus Victoria is now four, an absolute joy and we can finally start to relax. These three projects will take 3-6 months to get up to speed. After that, I will regain my literary focus and publish my second novel, The Crow and the Chrysalis.

Until we meet again,
